It's that time of year, bunnies- Ye Olde Bunny Jam is almost upon us! This year's Theme: The HARE-itics Ball.
I'm signing people up for 2-hour shifts at Auto da Fur, the bunnification and re-education station. Duties are: human catching, face-painting, ear positioning, and spreading the spirit of bunny love. Of course bunnifiers get in for free, but more
importantly they play a crucial role in spreading bunny love and getting newbies revved for the event.
I have 2 shifts available- 10 to 12 and 12 to 2. In addition, I'm looking for someone to help make a sign "Auto da Fur: repent, humans, repent!" Or something like that.
If you have no make-up experience, never fear! We will train you in the basic bunny faces. Post a response to this blog or send me a message if you're interested. Next week I'll post to the bunny tribe to recruit volunteers for any remaining slots.
Please include your email address in your message, so I can start an email thread for volunteers. Thanks!

Re: Call for Bunnification volunteers.
Tue, March 20, 2007 - 11:40 AMVery important stuff here. Making bunnies be bunnies.
Perhaps the most difficult task (which can also be the most fun), is the human catch and release program. Many of these humans have slipped past bunnification, and they may be scared and afraid, being in a habitat that is not their natural habitat. They often dress in hoodies, and wear silly things on their heads called "hats", wear clothing made from dead cows, button up their shirts, and so on. On occasion, they may be disguised as Santa's or even Clowns. But never fear, these humans need a bunny who is understanding that the human may be a little freaked out, and who can playfully win their acceptance, and bring them over to the bunny side...
For the bunnifying itself, most humans are actually happy to be converted into bunnies for the night, and are often willing to wait in line to do so! And the more bunnies we have helping to bunnify them, the faster they can be processed through the Auto da Fur, and be released into the world of.... Ye Olde Bunny Jamme!

Wed, March 21, 2007 - 12:04 PMThere's a few bunny's from LA who come up for Easter Weekend.
Other than Bunny Jam, there's alot going on in SF that weekend. Sunday is the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence party at Deloris Park ( thesisters.org/ ). And what better way to spend the day as a tourist, checking out the ever toursisty steepest windy road in SF - Lombard Street – going 30 mph on a big wheel! ( www.jonbrumit.com/byobw.html )
